BREAKFAST AT FIRWOOD is a relaxed affair, taken in the very spacious dining room, with original fireplace and big bay window looking out over the beautiful valley and hills with the morning sun slanting through the windows. It's not all dining rooms that give you the opportunity to bird and Red Squirrel watch!

You are offered a choice of breakfast, all freshly prepared, cooked and using local ingredients where possible - ask us if you would like to try the rare breed sausage and bacon (£1.50 supplement), some from the local herd of Tamworth pigs. If you prefer a slightly healthier sausage, ask for the venison sausage, lean but certainly not mean!

If you are a vegetarian, don't worry, look below for the vegetarian option.

Or you may like to go for the really healthy, the fresh fruit salad. This is definitely a full meal, again using fruits from our own trees when in season. Take a look at the full menu below but if you have any special dietary requirements, please let us know at time of booking and we will do our best to help.

- The Firwood Full (egg, bacon, sausage, hash brown, mushrooms, tomato) The sausages are local handmade pork, the eggs and bacon, again local.
- Scrambled eggs on toast
- Boiled egg

- Vegetarian sausages, egg, hash browns, mushrooms, tomato
- Baked beans, egg, hash browns, mushrooms, tomato

OR

Healthy Breakfast:

- The Firwood Fresh Fruit Salad, with or without natural yoghurt - a large bowl! Please ask if you would like a smaller portion.

WITH

- Selection of brown and white bread toast
- Selection of preserves
- Tea or coffee (fruit tea and decaffeinated tea and coffee available)
